My name is Joris Nieuwint. I am an accredited member of the International Guild of Battlefield Guides (Badge #112) and recipient of the David Chandler Award. I have been guiding on the battlefields of the Netherlands and Belgium for over a decade, and my tours have received the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for three consecutive years.

How quickly will you reply?
I aim to reply within 24 hours. During peak tour season (April to September), I may be out guiding during the day, but I check messages every evening. If your request is urgent, WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach me.
I am not sure which tour to book. Can you help me choose?
Absolutely. Tell me your dates, how many people are in your group, and what interests you most (a specific division, a film like A Bridge Too Far or Band of Brothers, or a general overview of Operation Market Garden). I will recommend the tour that fits best.
Can I book a tour for 2027?
Yes. I take bookings well in advance, especially for the September commemoration period. Send me your preferred dates through the form below or check availability online.
