The real foxholes that were once manned by Easy Company, Band of Brothers during the siege of Bastogne.

The Bois Jacques is the wood between Bastogne and Foy. During the siege of Bastogne, Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, held a line here through the bitter winter of 1944β45, short of winter clothing and ammunition and under German shellfire. On 13 January 1945 they left these woods to attack Foy.
